We've got a busy summer of events coming up at North London Cares and we're really excited about some of the new stuff that's coming up...!
First up, we'll be working with a local community centre in Camden to set up an older people's Summer University.
Courses will run throughout August, and we'd really love you to bring your ideas and expertise to the fray, as we know how many talented volunteers we have. Already, ideas include social activities hooking on:
If you have any skills or experience in these areas or any others -- marketing, languages, music, whatever your passion -- and are able to give up a couple of hours a week or even just once during August, we'd love to hear from you.
We've also been working with Camden Town Unlimited to host a one-off afternoon Tea & Jazz Day on 23rd May at one of their new pop-up shops. If you are free that afternoon, please let us know by emailing [email protected] -- we'd love you to come along and meet some of your older neighbours.
