North London Cares began way back in 2011. Since then many other branches have opened and we are now part of The Cares Family, with sibling charities in south London (based in Brixton), east London (based in Bethnal Green), Manchester and Liverpool. We share a CEO, Managing Director, senior leadership team and trustees.

The Cares Family also run nation wide projects such as:

The Multiplier which brings together a diverse group of community change-makers from across the UK. This leadership programme takes individuals on a journey to increase their confidence and capability in building more socially connected communities. H

The Ripple Effect which actively supports organisations, groups and individuals to adopt and adapt The Cares Family model and approach to create meaningful intergenerational connections in their communities. This is being piloted with a coalition from York.
