Finally, summer’s around the corner…

Although it’s raining in London now, it could get sweltering this summer….

OK, so we're not quite there yet, and let's be honest: the last few weeks have hardly been the best advert for the Great British Summer.

But with the solstice and mid summer technically just around the corner (next week, in fact), there's lots of work to do to prepare our older neighbours for the possibility of a heatwave.

It could arrive in a flash.

So working with Islington Council and Age UK Islington, we're preparing 5 events, 8 door-knocking sessions, and 10 Care Home visits, to help inform older people about the best ways to stay cool through June, July and August.
