Last night, four qualified teachers from across north London were briefed about an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the Lemuel Findlay Supplementary School in Seven Sisters.

The school is facing difficult funding challenges this term, and asked North London Cares to recruit a pool of high quality teaching professionals to help deliver its programme of education to young people from across Haringey, Enfield and the rest of north London.

If you are a teacher with a CRB check in place and you would like to join Hannah, Zeenia, Eleanor, Katie and others this term, by volunteering one or two Saturdays of your time to teach young people before Christmas.

The school needs teachers of all ages -- from primary age through to Year 11 -- and primarily in the core skills of English, Maths and Science.

Please do sign up to offer just a little time if you can -- your involvement could be the difference between the Lemuel Findlay School, which has been running since 1974, remaining open -- or shutting its doors this autumn.
