Joining the party: The brilliant Tom Gill

Tom is a UK Slam Champion whose work is sharp, witty, clever and cuttingly observational. His commentaries on modern relationships, social media, education, tuition fees and how society operates are frank, original and utterly compelling.

Tom recently featured at number 1 on Buzzfeed's 14 British spoken word poets you must see, and was the voice of Manchester United FC's global kit launch at the start of the month. His '4 Minute Fix' echoes much of the context in which North London Cares works - so we're thrilled and excited to have him on board.

If you haven't yet bought your tickets to Band Together, our 4th birthday party next Wednesday (12th), please do get them in advance. We're expecting a big crowd, possibly even a sell out. And with Tom's dulcet tones offering the backdrop for the evening, we know it's going to be a night to remember.
