It’s been a long, cold winter—but finally spring is in the air.

On Saturday Freddie, Laura, Devon, Jess and Joe joined us to complete the project our amazing volunteers have been working on since January -- to speak to as many of our neighbours as possible to raise awareness of services available to them, and to encourage people to look out for one another during the cold weather.

Between the end of January and the end of March, our volunteers knocked on 4,002 doors -- and we helped dozens of people to connect to their neighbours in doing so!

Thank you to everyone who's taken part in this project -- we'll publish a report soon about the contribution you've all made, but in the meantime check out some of the new photos of people checking in on their neighbours, and making new friends in the process.

North London Cares is also delighted to feature in the "Why It Matters" section of one of our favourite local blogs today, The Kentish Towner. Check out the post -- it has a little more of our story, and about why we're trying to recruit 100 volunteers in the next few months to participate in our communities.

Thanks to our friends at The Kentish Towner for giving us a new shop window!
