This weekend Alex, one of our North London Cares Organisers, along with four other volunteers, helped two of their older neighbours to transform their gardens ready for spring.
On Saturday Alex, Jess and Tom visited Jane for some pruning and weeding to tidy up her garden.
As you can see, Tom really worked hard during the session!
Alex and other volunteers will be back later in the summer to pressure wash Jane’s patio.
On Sunday Alex, Emma and Ellen tidies up Rupert’s flower beds and planted some flowers for him.
Rupert showed the volunteers his appreciation by sharing his home-made patties with them.
Lots more older neighbours will be in need of a little gardening help over the next few months. Sign up if you’d like to lend a helping hand.
