The World Cup might be over and the Commonwealth Games almost up - but we've also got plenty of opportunities to enjoy the rest of the summer by socialising with and helping our older neighbours this August...
Could you teach our Men's Cooking Club an affordable and simple recipe one Tuesday, from 11am-2pm?
Or if you'd like to make the most of this glorious weather what about Digging for Victory!? On Saturday 16th August from 1pm - 4pm, we're helping Ray, a local man in his 80s who is struggling with the upkeep of his allotment and may lose it after 34 years.
Are you a keen gardener or would you like a masterclass from Ray – the 'Monty Don of Islington'?! Email [email protected] if you’d like to show your support & join the effort!

And if you'd like to spend time with an older neighbour one-to-one, rather than in a group activity, we'd love to talk to you about our Love Your Neighbour programme which matches young people to neighbours who often live alone and are housebound. Please get in touch!
