Since just before Christmas, North London Cares has been running monthly storytelling nights in Islington. The amazing Hannah, Marike and Sylvian, who share intricate, suspenseful and expressive tales from across the ages, have become much loved by our Tuesday gang.
These events have now been established as a core part of the North London Cares routine, and we really hope we can make them even more central to our work in 2013.
This video gives an insight into those lovely moments, which bring older people together with young professionals to share time, tea and new experiences in a welcoming, relaxing environment.
More broadly, it also offers a window on what we're trying to achieve as an organisation, and some of the opportunities we provide.
