It’s officially UK Older People’s Day. Why not play your part by signing up with NLC to make a difference to our older neighbours?

We have lots of ways you can get involved, including:

Film Clubs -- with at least four film clubs running each week in Camden and Islington, there are plenty of opportunities for you to share a film and spend some quality time with the older members of our community.

Care Home visits -- join us for tea, biscuits and a chat with residents of local care homes. Just an hour or two of your time can make a huge difference.

Care Home trips -- we like to treat our older neighbours to special trips, such as concerts or the theatre, whenever possible. Let us know if you would like to get involved, or if you have a new idea for a trip we could organise.

Discussion groups – get together with groups of our older neighbours in Camden and Islington to share memories, stories, old photographs, ideas and more.
