Join us to support Hands on London -- and to collect London’s unwanted coats for those in need.
It’s getting cold out!
And this winter, thousands of people across north London will need extra help to stay warm in those bitter months.
That’s why North London Cares is working with Hands on London, to harness the generosity of Londoners by asking them to donate their unwanted winter coats to those more in need. Together, we will then redistribute the coats to women and children’s shelters, homeless shelters and elderly centres throughout London.
To kick off, we’re asking for volunteers to give up a little time on the mornings of November 2nd, 3rd and 4th -- to raise awareness of the campaign at King’s Cross and to collect coats from people as they arrive at the station.
We’re hoping to make the most of the morning rush hour, so shifts are from 6.45am to 11am.
We know it's early -- so we need your help!
Thank you!
