Over the next couple of weeks, we have some very special one-off weekend events coming up: a Mad Hatter's Tea Party, a photography walk and an LGBT's women's activities day.
On Saturday 28th September, we will be taking part in the Archway with Words festival, a week-long literary festival in the heart of the community. As part of the 'Alice in Wonderday' finale, we will be hosting a Mad Hatter's Tea Party for the over 60s, followed by three Alice and Wonderland film screenings for the whole community. It's going to be a really busy and fun day. Get in touch if you'd like to be involved.
On the same day, our friends at Fox and Squirrel have kindly donated us some places on their photography walking tour of Camden. A few older people from the local area will be taking part in the walk and we'd love to have a couple of volunteers to support them. Get in touch if you'd like to help out and learn about Camden whilst honing your own photography skills.
The following weekend we will be hosting our first ever LGBT's women's activities day in partnership with Opening Doors London, a charity which supports older lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender people. This will be an opportunity for women of all ages to come together to discuss their experiences, eat cake and have fun. It's open to all women, so get in touch if you'd like to be part of it!
