On Wednesday 13th June, we were absolutely chuffed that Stewart Lee once again headed up a night of comedy in aid of North London Cares and South London Cares. And what a line up it was! Arnold Brown, Athena Kugblenu, Bridget Christie, Eleanor Tiernan, and Tony Law all came together for a night of hilarity for charity.
With over 400 guests in attendance, the night was abuzz with performances about topics as eclectic as Cat Cafes, washing machines, Valentine’s day and so much more.
And our audience also had the opportunity to meet some of our younger and older neighbours – Maria, Harry, Emma and the rest of the gang were centre stage in our Cares Family film, which was played on the night.

Not only that, our raffle was a roaring success – and we couldn’t have done it without the generous support of these many wonderful businesses.
A huge thank you goes to:
Peckham Brewery;
Abel & Co;
The Hidden City;
Mindful Chef;
Waterstones;
Southwark Brewery;
Odeon Cinema; and
Rooftop Cinema Club
Finally, the night wouldn’t have been possible without these kind and generous people. We are so grateful for the support of:
Brendan Stanley for designing the programme.
The Leicester Square Theatre
Arnold, Athena, Bridget, Eleanor and Tony for their amazing performances
And Stewart Lee, for bringing everyone together for such a wonderful night.
