Laura and Lil met seven years ago through North London Cares. While the country is in lockdown, they have been staying in touch and speaking on the phone every day.
Thank you to everyone who makes our work possible – from funders, to local businesses, to partners in the proud voluntary sector and, most importantly, the older and younger people who share time every day through North London Cares. We're so grateful for your support, especially at this disconnecting time.

North London Cares is suspending programmes involving older people from March 13th until April 30th, due to the Coronavirus.
North London Cares helps people find connection in times of challenge and change, so we are taking the appropriate steps to protect our neighbours and community health.
We launched our Winter Wellbeing project which has been running since October 2019. It is our 9th project to date, helping older neighbours who are over 65 and living in Islington or Camden to overcome the challenges of winter. As we embark upon our next phase of the project, knocking in 300 doors of local residents, here's how we have been supporting older neighbours so far over the last four months.
