Seven years ago, on August 8th 2011, North London Cares opened. We never believed when we came up with this idea – of connecting older and younger Londoners – that it would take off the way it has. And we're so proud of all the neighbours, from 21 to 104, who have come together to share time and experiences.
Older and younger neighbours have enjoyed hanging out together this summer whilst watching one of the most exciting football World Cup tournaments ever.
What a night. Six comedians. Three hours. And £7,385 raised to bring more younger and older neighbours together both north and south of the river!
