We're just back from our second outing with volunteers from Hilton Hotels -- and two groups of older neighbours who had a great time enjoying world-class music on their own doorstep.

As we move into the autumn and finalise North London Cares' programme for the period leading up to Christmas (yep, we said it), we thought it would be nice to take a look back on the work we've been doing during a memorable summer in London Town.
In the memorable summer of 2012, North London Cares embarked on a project, in partnership with Islington Council, to speak to 1,000 of our neighbours over the age of 65, to help make sure they stayed cool, connected, healthy and hydrated during the hotter months.
